Halloween x Pocket Camp

I love Halloween, but due to chronic pain and fatigue, I’m not able to decorate much—where before I would outfit the whole house with Halloween decor (much of it made myself), now I just put up a few things. Fortunately, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp (now Pocket Camp Complete) offers an outlet for my Halloween spirit. Here are three layouts I made for my camp this year, as well as some photo collages I made with snapshots of my camp.

First, the layouts:

A mildly haunted hot spring
A Halloween parade in a city park
Some general Halloween Vibes TM

Here are a couple other collages made from snapshots:

I was originally going to add the words ‘trick or treat’ to the colored spaces, but it made the overall composition too cluttered.
I made the collages with the app Diptic. This one was a multi-step process as follows:
Step one: make the base collage.
Step two: make a custom layout in Diptic as shown above.
Step three: insert the base collage into the new layout.

In this way, you can create combinations of layouts that would require too many nodes otherwise. Diptic is a fairly simple app, but I enjoy using it for quick collages that I don’t anticipate needing or wanting to adjust later (once you close the app, your work is lost; it keeps a brief history of the layouts you’ve used recently but that’s it).

I had a lot of fun with these so I hope you enjoy them. Happy Halloween!
