Spring has sprung…depending on what part of the world you’re in, anyhow. But in Pocket Camp, spring is definitely here, and I’ve put together some layouts to share with you all!
I’ll start by saying that Azalea’s train cookie is not one that has especially caught my attention in the past, but for some reason this year it did catch my eye and I’ve really been enjoying playing with it. So almost all of these layouts include the train.
1. Country train station

The clock tower from Pompom’s Daisyville cookie makes for a good train station to match with Azalea’s train cookie. In the canon foreground, I’ve used pieces from the dairy shop series to make a little picnic area. This layout doesn’t require new terrain—I did use the birch trees terrain in the foreground because I like the river—but this layout works perfectly with the default terrain options.
2. City train station

The village green terrain series matches very nicely with the floral train and Daisyville pieces to make a charming city train station. The pieces from the train and Daisyville sets are arranged vertically along the canal, leaving spaces to the sides where you can add in some more attractions as you like.
3. Fairyland train station

This layout uses the following terrains: fairy forest for the foreground, floral fairy forest for the middle ground, azalea garden for the background, and dreamy beach for the sky. Honestly, any combination of the fairy forest and floral fairy forest terrains will probably work here with whatever background and sky floats your boat. I’ve filled in around the train tracks with items from Diana’s fay cookie and the floral frolic series. The giant fairy forest bench works well with the train to keep the fairyland theme going.
4. Train cabin layout

The train pieces from Azalea’s train cookie are so big that you wouldn’t think they would work well for a cabin layout…and it DID take some finagling, but in the end I MADE IT WORK. I am super proud of myself for both the layout design and the snapshots I’ve featured. Anyway, for the “interior” part of the design, I used pieces from Fuchsia’s retro cookie to make a little diner, but there are loads of different cookies featuring interior pieces, so with a little creativity you should be able to make it whatever kind of shop you like.
5. Woodland spring wedding

Everyone loves a spring wedding! (Except people with allergies.) Anyway, Piper’s sunbeam cookie pairs well with the chapel terrain and any of the wedding-themed series. A word of warning, the sunlit trees are, to put it mildly, several orders of magnitude brighter than everything else in the set, to the point that they look radioactive in the dark. See below:

Happy spring, and see you next time!
