Two grim reapers watch the eponymous Black, a rogue grim reaper, try to save a human This show features some really beautiful grim reaper mythology, compelling characters, great music—basically this show was just all around beautiful and amazing. Seriously, I was ugly-crying by the end of it, I was overcome. An all-time favorite for me, will definitely re-watch.

Cheo-Yong	2 seasons	20 episodes	👻👻👻👻
Cheo-Yong investigates This is a great crime-solving-via-ghosts type show. I give it an overall rating of four ghosts; I would give the first season a three-ghost rating and the second season a five-ghost rating. The first season sets up the premise (Cheo-Yong, the detective who can see ghosts and uses this to solve crimes) but the show really reaches its potential in the second season.

Demon’s Path	1 season	13 episodes	👻👻👻👻👻
Ho Fei emerges from a bodybag This is another crime-solving-via-ghosts type show. There are two ways that the police communicate with the dead: via shamans (“supernatural specialists”) and via a scientific device created by the creepy (he takes naps in a body bag) Dr. Ho. The crime-solving plot is interesting but it was the characters (especially Dr. Ho and his character arc) that made me love this show.

The Haunting of Hill House	1 season	10 episodes	👻👻👻👻
The strength of this show lies in the relationships between the characters and the complex, richly layered plot. I won’t give any spoilers, but let me just say that you will be rewarded if you watch all the way to the end.

A Korean Odyssey	1 season	20 episodes	👻👻👻👻👻
This show follows the adventures of Seon-Mi, a real estate agent who specializes in haunted properties due to her ability to see ghosts and other supernatural entities. She soon becomes embroiled in a quest to save the world. The show features a whole cast of great characters and relationships between characters, as well as amazing fantasy mythology.

Mystic Whispers	1 season	13 episodes	👻👻👻
How strange This show features cute characters who band together to help ghosts resolve their grudges and move on. It is fairly formulaic but the plots are good and there was a surprising ending. Overall, a mostly average show, but worth watching if you like ghosts.

Oh My Ghost	1 season	16 episodes	👻👻👻👻
This show is not actually that scary, but it is about a ghost, more specifically, a love triangle with a ghost. It’s a very cute show with a crime-solving twist, as well as a side of cooking show drama. This review is for the 2015 Korean version (오 나의 귀신님) featuring Park Bo-Young. I give it 4 ghosts for being a feel-good ghost story.

Possessed	1 season	16 episodes	👻👻👻
This show starts out happy and funny then gets dark. Like really, really, kills all of your favorites, some of them die twice, seriously I went through an entire box of tissues, kind of dark. The characters are really great though and the plot is compelling. I didn’t give it a higher rating due to the high mortality rate, which got tiresome towards the end.

Stranger Things	2 seasons	17 episodes	👻👻👻👻
This isn’t a ghost show per se, but it has the same sort of feel. It’s set in the 80s and features a lot of sci-fi type stuff, and is very well done. It will definitely give you the chills and keep you on the edge of your seat while watching.

Tientsin Mystic	1 season	24 episodes	👻👻👻👻👻
Ding Mao cuddles with a skull Excellent spookage™ for maximum chills. Another all-time favorite for me, featuring a large variety of ghosts, ghouls, and gods.
