President’s Day

The President’s Day weekend ice storm is an annual tradition here in North Carolina, and in my haste to get yesterday’s post up in between power outages, I accidentally forgot half of it. So here it is, for real this time.

What Roman god or goddess is looking out for your sign—and what are they reading when they’re not?

Astrology is popular all times of the year, but it’s particularly apropos around Valentine’s Day—the holiday of love, overpriced merchandise, and the patron saint of plague victims (also apropos this year).

Astrology memes are also quite entertaining (for obvious reasons), so this month I bring you this post:

What Roman god or goddess is looking out for you, and what they’re reading when they’re not

Featuring LGBT titles, because ancient Rome was super gay, and the author Megan Derr, because she’s super great.
