It’s that time again—the anniversary of the day seven years ago when I first started writing this blog. It’s come a long way since then and is definitely on the short list of things I am proud of. ♥️
Since I became fully disabled, there have been some setbacks—I can no longer post once a week, or even once a month, and I had to shut down my master’s project, the Database of Demons and Death Gods, due to lack of income to fund the hosting. However, despite that, I have continued to work on and add to this ongoing work in progress.
Here are some things I’ve achieved since this time last year:
- My post about the story of Lady Ambrosia is still as popular as ever
- I made several vintage illustration-themed printables that have also been quite popular
- I finished (and published) the second book in my astrology series, Stellar Advice for the Sick and Tired
- I finished (and posted) my e-zine about Homer and the Iliad
In terms of what’s coming next, here are some things that are in the works:
- Work is underway on my next astrology book, Kawaii Sky: an astrology adventure. This one is going to be a long haul my friends; it wouldn’t surprise me if it takes me a couple years. As the title implies, it’s an adventure-style book, so there’s a lot of backstory and world-building that has to happen before the real story actually even starts. I’m really excited about this, and I will try to remember to post sneak peeks every so often.
- I don’t have any more DIY/printable content already planned, but it’s something I intend to do some more of.
- I have a couple other vague ideas of things I might try in terms of content, but I’m not going to share any details as I don’t know yet whether anything will materialize from them.
- And finally, I want to get back to basics and actually review some books, rather than reading them, thinking some thoughts, and never getting around to writing them up as a post, which is my current process.
Thank you for seven amazing years, and here’s to as many more! 🥂
